This app was developed to help improve age-related visual impairment by looking at red light for 3 minutes a day. To use the app, tap the screen to display two black circles on a red screen. While keeping the two circles overlapping, move your eyes only without moving your head to follow the moving circle. It is recommended to do the 90-second exercise twice a day (total of 3 minutes).
There are two methods for focusing: A. Cross method and B. Parallel method. In the cross method, focus on a point in front of the screen (Near-sightedness). In the parallel method, focus on a point behind the screen (Far-sightedness). When the two circles overlap in the center, concentrate on the center circle to avoid deviation. Generally, the cross method is said to be effective for nearsightedness or presbyopia, and the parallel method is effective for farsightedness.
Notes:
- To emit strong red light, the screen brightness is maximized when starting the exercise.
- This app is developed to support the recovery of vision, but it does not guarantee its effectiveness.
- If you feel sick or uncomfortable during use, stop using it immediately.
