The app uses Dark Sky Data and Storm Tracker to track storms, rain, snow, weather, and hurricanes. It also includes weather warnings and storm alerts with a live radar map. Users can utilize local weather radar maps to track storms, snowfall, hurricanes, thunderstorms, rain, lightning, tornadoes, snow, and typhoons. The app provides storm forms for storms in 2022 and allows users to learn about the current weather in every city in the United States.

The Storm & Snow Tracker feature of the app allows users to track storms, tornados, and snowfall at any time. It provides updated warnings for upcoming storms and snow in 2022 and allows users to monitor storm reports for past weather activities. The Local Storm feature raises awareness of potential local storms and warns users about them. The app also provides a reliable Dark Sky data forecaster for local weather conditions and a local weather forecast summary on the home screen.

The Doppler Radar feature of the app provides real-time rain storm local radar maps in live animated radar. It allows users to select local doppler radar weather for their location and track weather conditions with live doppler radar maps and a radar scope. The Weather Widget feature provides weather alerts with weather widgets before precipitation, custom interactive weather graphs, and the ability to add or remove local or any city for widget info. It also allows users to customize sunrise-sunset and moon phases. The app shows weather parameters such as the possibility of rain, satellite cloud images, rain radar forecast interactive map, temperature, feels like temperature, average wind direction and speed, maximum wind speed observed, and humidity.

Good news for Dark Sky lovers! The app uses Dark Sky weather data, and after Dark Sky company is purchased by Apple®, they declared the service will close on 31 March 2023. After this announcement, Apple® created a new weather data service name Weatherkit that is as accurate as Dark Sky. So the app will keep serving much more accurate data using Weatherkit after closing the Dark Sky service.
