Chomp SMS is an ultra-customizable alternative to stock Android SMS/MMS apps. It comes with a variety of features, such as passcode lock, privacy options, scheduled SMS sender, stop a text while sending, pin favs to top, backup, blocklisting/SMS blocker, signatures, text snippets, quick reply popup, multi-select picture gallery, dual sim, better MMS and GROUP messaging, and more. It also offers unlimited customization options when receiving messages, such as changing notification LED colors, ringtones, and vibrate patterns.

Chomp SMS also supports the latest Android, Twitter, JoyPixels & iOS style emojis, including diversity (skin tone). It also has a new Mark as Unread feature, which allows users to long press on an entry in the Conversation List and select Mark as Unread. This will keep the conversation unread until it is opened.
