Message and Call Tracker is a mobile application that allows users to track all calls and messages made or received on their device. The app displays a persistent notification after registration, which cannot be disabled, due to updated Google Policy. The app only reads and saves WhatsApp messages (text only) and calls, and does not read SMS anymore. The app is not a remote monitoring app and cannot be used to spy on anyone. The app does not save anything in SD card or any public storage, and it does not share any data out of the app unless the user logs in using their username/password on the website and requests for data.
Users can visit the control panel and remotely access all chat messages, even when the device is not with them. They can add notes for each record and filter out messages and calls with various filter options. The app is completely free with no hidden charges. To use the app, users need to install it and register using their email ID and a PIN. They need to enable the checkbox to enable tracking of calls and messages on their device. Whenever a call is made or received or a message is sent or received, users need to launch the app again and click on the "View" buttons to see the records of the last calls or messages on list view.
The app is in compliance with Google Policy and GDPR Policy. It shows a notification in the top bar whenever a persistent notification is displayed all the time. Only WhatsApp text message information is read, and SMS are not read or saved. Call/messages are not uploaded automatically, and they have to be pulled by the user after logging in to the website using the same credentials used to register. Details are stored securely in a server located in the US. Users can opt-out anytime and clear the details from the server either through mobile or from the website. The app saves all chat data collected in a secured, private database, and data is saved in the device and is not shared with any other app.
The app needs access to notifications of other apps to read messages received by other apps. Without this permission, the app will not be able to read any call or message. The message read will be saved locally in the app and will be made available to the user on the website only when they log in to the website and pull the records.
