Sky TV has launched a new design that makes it easier for its customers to find and enjoy the best TV shows. The new design also includes recommendations tailored to individual customers and allows for easy switching between compatible devices. Sky Go offers over a hundred channels, including free-to-air favourites like ITV and Channel 4, as well as Sky Atlantic, Sky One, Sky Sports, and Sky Cinema. Customers can also catch up on shows they missed and download their favourite recordings to watch offline with Sky Go Extra.
Sky Go is available to Sky TV customers at no extra cost and can be downloaded onto compatible devices. The app also recommends movies based on customers' preferences and automatically plays the next episode of a series. Sky Q customers can pause shows on their TV in one room and pick up on their device in another. They can also download their recordings to watch offline. To use Sky Q features on the Sky Go app, customers need to be on the same WiFi network as their Sky Q Box and have a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription.
Sky Go Extra allows customers to download shows to watch offline and stream without using any of their data if they are a Sky Mobile customer. However, a Sky Go Extra subscription is required. The app is available to residential customers in the UK or Ireland only and some programmes from live Sky TV channels may be unavailable via Sky Go. Sky's privacy notice explains how the company uses customers' information, which can be viewed on sky.com/privacy.
