Autodesk AutoCAD Web on mobile is a simplified interface that allows users to access, create, and update DWG files anytime, anywhere. It offers familiar AutoCAD drafting tools on mobile devices, making it easy to work offline on projects without an internet connection and sync later. Users can safeguard their drawings in their Autodesk account or with their own external accounts, collaborate in real-time with team members, and reduce mistakes. The software allows users to replace blueprints at job sites with drawings on mobile, simplifying workflows by opening DWG files directly from Autodesk Drive, Autodesk Docs, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
AutoCAD Web offers a 30-day free trial, after which users can access limited read-only functionality without a paid subscription. Current AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT desktop subscribers can sign in with their Autodesk account to access AutoCAD Web on mobile. The software offers 2D file viewing, drafting and geometry editing tools, annotation and markup tools, and the ability to measure distance, angle, area, and radius. Users can view and edit DWG files from their internal storage, email, or from the cloud, and import values from Leica DISTO.
AutoCAD Web subscription plans are available monthly for $9.99, yearly for $99.99, or included free with AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT subscriptions. Subscriptions are charged to the user's credit card through their Google Play account and are automatically renewed unless cancelled at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
However, AutoCAD Web service is not provided to children under the age of 14, and users under 14 cannot use this service. Users should also be aware of the Autodesk Terms of Use before using the software.
